Dubrovnik and Split in the south of croatia! The sea, wonderful, beautiful old cities with charisma, good food and nice people and a climate which is not so cold as elsewhere in europe at that time! And of course it's much cheaper there than other european countries. Maybe that'll change in a few years, when it's a real tourist goal...

I've fond airfare to the big german cities to be cheap from mid america right now ($415 (w/tax) from tulsa to munich for spring break from tulsa) They have great regional rail passes available for up to 5 traveling in bavaria right now too ~ $35 per day for all. Stay in munich near the tran station for a few days then day trip or change hotels and go to salzburg, the castles (Fussen) and or rothenburg)

Berlin is also great and a deal right now - but I digress. I think were doing portugal - a bit pricer to get there but food and lodging are a bit cheaper too.

so which you ought to discern stuff for trains and planes...and nightlife and excursion stuff (museums and such). examine with expedia for flights and SNCF for trains. different than for delivery i could say a sturdy 50 euros consistent with day.
