Arriving 7:00am. Have to be back on ship by 4:00PM. Want to see Panama City and Canal. What is the safest and most reliable transportation to use? I speak Spanish, so that will not be a barrier. Biggest fear is traffic jam on return trip and missing the boat.

We want to take a cruise in June for our honeymoon and would like to end up around Anchorage. We know we want to go to Denali, but should we stay there or just stay in Anchorage? Where should we stay, where should we go, and what should we do?

I read that, but I can't understand, as I thought Cairo wasn't a coastal city.

While at this, where do Mediterranean cruises usually start, and where do they usually finish? (If it matters, in regard to 2 week cruises).

I am doing a project in English. We just finished The Odyssey, and I am supposed to create a travel brochure for a real travel agency. I have to include seven of the locations Odysseus supposedly visited, a map of the voyage, the nameo f the cruise line, length of the trip, cost, and contact information. I have tried Princess and Carnival both, and yet I can't seem to be able to get these details.

I want to take a world cruise, but I don't want to be around a bunch of snobs nor have a restrictive dress code. Would Princess or Holland America fit this bill? Which line is better? Are there any other options?

If it helps, here's the context:

"Bearing in mind the costs of running a cruise ship, stops are not cost-effective, so they are kept to a minimum, unless you are a Millennium ship, and you've thrown another bearing. "

At cruisecritics.com, for the Costa Romantica cruise ship it said: You should plan to tip your room stewrad $3.00 to $3.50 per person/ per day and plan an equal amount for your dining room waiter and half of that for the busboy. Then another paragraph was titled : " Tips on Tipping" it said: for the waiter $3.30-$3.50 per person/ per day and assistant waiter $1.50- $2.00 per person/ per day.

If this is true, then this cruise vacation is not worth it at all, they are trying to empty everyone's wallets. I mine as well go on a road trip or go to another country and stay at someone's house. Because I know I won't be asked to leave a tip every day I stay there.

Having to decide on Mariner out of Orlando, or Freedom out of Miami. Live alot closer to Orlando. Is it worth the extra hours in the car to go on the newest ship? And getting to the port in Miami, is it a nightmare? I do like Freedoms places to go better though. They both have ice skating rinks, and climbing walls. Any opion will be greatly appericated.
