The ship that we are going on is called Costa Romantica. The ships cabin occupancy is four people. The person that is in charge of this cruise plan told me that: The first 2 people have to pay $609 and the last two pay less. How are we supposed to work this out?

Could you please give me a better idea of what to expect on a cruise I've never been on one
Do you get to spend much time in different countries on your own?
Excursions?
Entertainment?
Is there a Dress code in the evenings?
Thankyou in advance

For Dance classes, or Yoga, or Pilates etc, do you have to sign up, or is the Classes free, or do you have to have a membership? At the dance classes, do instructors teach you how to dance, or do you just dance along? For the teens club, do you have to have a membership, or is it free? Is the entertainment free? Like the hollywood theatre? How can you TELL which restuarants are free, and which ones require extra surcharges?

I have a 1 gig mp3 player that needs no software to run, I just drag on drop. Could I potentially bring a CD or flashdrive filled with MP3s and then use one of the Internet Cafe computers on a Celebrity ship (Constellation) to delete the songs on my flash player and put on new ones from the aforementioned CDs or USB drives?

In short, can you access My Computer from the internet cafe computers or is it prohibited.

when we get off the ship in port ( say, Nassau ) and want to go on a snorkling trip or whatever, do they take credit cards, or do we need cash or travelers checks or what?

If this is the case, truly a cruise is a money eating plan. I mean after paying so much for a flight and then the cruise. Also, another question, do you have to give a tip and if so how much?

i'm about to book a caribbean in december on carnival. it will be my honeymoon and i'll be taking my 10 month old infant. i was told the middle is best with a baby as it rocks less. i know i want a balcony but don't know if i care about anything else (first timer). balcony, not picking room is the cheapest. but where will i end up? if i want to pick my room it starts at $250 more and then more money for each deck up. should i save the money or splurge and is it worth it?

I am going on my first cruise next week. We are leaving from San Diego and going to Cabo abord the Carnival Elation ship. It is my first cruise . . Can't wait to go. I didn't get the room with the window though . . do you think that was a bad move? Overall do you think it is important . . or is it like Vegas where you aren't in your room for much anyways except for sleep & knockin boots.

Will be going on a Caribbean Cruise in the spring and want to start planning my day trips for the 4 islands we will be visiting.

First stop is Aruba, then Curacao. What are some good beaches to visit on these islands? Preferably one that little kids can swim at and have some type of restaurant or beach bar.

Next stop is St Maarten. I'm thinking of taking the ferry to Anguilla for the day but I'm not sure yet. I've heard the beaches on Anguilla are fantastic, how are they on St. Maarten? Has anyone been to both islands and can tell which they preferred and why?

Already planning on going to St John when we stop in St Thomas.

Are they any other tours or great experiences on these islands anyone can tell me about? Keep in mind we'll have three kids with our group - ages from 4 to 6.

I'm looking to go on a cruise sometime next year, possibly around November either the Mexican Riviera or Western Caribbean. Is this a good time to go? Is there a better/worse time of year?

I just had some questions regarding the cruise...we're sailing on Dec. 15 to Western Carribean on a Carnival cruise. I want to use the gym/attend Pilates classes while on board. Do I need to bring my own mat? or should they already provide customer's with them? and does the exercise area cost any additional money? I know the spa costs extra...but does the gym and pilates? Also, I understand that I only have to be 18 to gamble on board right? that would make my trip even more interesting.

Thats all the questions I can really think of right now...thanks for any help!
And if you want to add additional tips that you think I might want/need to know please feel free to do so!
