Depends on what you like. If you really love Disney, it would be worth it. But Disney is one of the more expensive mass-market lines [they only have two ships and there's a lot of demand].

You can get an idea of what it's like by going to CruiseCritic.com, clicking on "Boards", then "Disney Cruise Lines"; also check out "Reviews", which has reviews from both pros and past guests.

My husband and I have been on 5+ Disney Cruises without children. We LOVE it!!! THe adult only pool is amazing and the spa area is relaxing~~ no children allowed!! The kids are pretty much off and running doing their own thing with the counselors onboard so they don't get in the way at all. During the day there are adult things like wine tasting and cooking shows that are a lot of fun, as well as the towel folding and trivia games. At night there is plenty of adult only entertainment, dance clubs, comedy clubs, sports clubs...

We love this cruise and now can't wait to introduce this cruise to our 10 month old son, "our little souvinier from the last cruise"

Disney is the best in the cruise business & you pay for it. It is totally geared toward making your stay great. They have the best kids programs. I would say to shop around for specials. Go in the off season, it saves you money for sure. Theres many good websites besides disney to buy tickets. It is worth the money. See if you could get a group discount. good luck

Truthfully, my whole family are really big DISNEY FANS, we are from Florida and I promise we try to visit Mickey Mouse once a year. This past September we went on a family cruise and we went on Royal Carribbean Liberty of the Seas. Our ship docked next to one of the Disney Ships and it was half its size. I dont think it worth the money you pay for a disney cruise versus a Royal Carribbean. At least at Royal you have something for everyone. It had a water park for kids, surfing for both kids and adults, mini golf, play area for children, a childrens camp, and for adults they had the nightlife, an adults only soloriam, an amazing gym. AND the SERVICE AND FOOD was AMAZING.

i went on a disney cruise about two years ago and it was AWESOME!!! but we didnt have to pay for it because it was my wish from make-a-wish but the staff is VERY GOOD. there are things to do very everyone, theres an area for different age groups for the kids and they can even give you a beeper to let you know if your kid is ready to leave the room, go somewhere with a friend they met, etc. this gives adults a chace to go hang out in the ADULTS ONLY pool or just relax and have some time to themselves. EVERYTHING is good, i didnt find one bad thing about it

There is lots of stuff to do that is adults only: dance clubs, adult only pools, if you co to Disney's island "Castaway Cay" they have an adults only beach. SO there is lots to do, it's just like any other cruise just happens to have disney characters on board.

There is a spa, bar, and pool for the adults. Plently of Adult-Only restraunts. It also has many family activties so you can spend time with the kids. There are also many teens and kid only activties so the parents can run off and have some fun. :) There are also many live performances but I think they are mostly for families. Hope you have fun!
