I'm going to Manzanillo on a Carnival cruise, and I was wondering if there are any fun tours or excursions. I looked at the list on carnival.com for shore excursions, and I thought the Open Air Exploration & Beach looked pretty good for the price, but if anyone has been on a more fun one(for a good price), please let me know. Also, if you know of any good beaches around that area... THANKS

Would it be possible to catch an 8:30am flight when a cruise ship arrives at 6:00am? I don't want to end up missing my flight out of San Juan.

Is a passport necessary for a US Citizen to take a Cruise that doesn't leave U.S. waters? I only ask this because my wife's ex husband has tried to take her daughter out of country before nd we believe there may be an alterior motive.

My biggest worry is the weather. but i've also heard that there weather down there is different from right here. Like here in june... its really hot.. and over there; they have hurricanes... I'm really excited.. but just worried about the weather :T

Also for people who has gone to this one: How is this one different.. do they have nightclubs? I went on the Paradise... just wondering if its different... Thanks a whole lot everyone!!

I have had the fear of water since the age of 9, when a wave came in and swept me back into the water. Have not been back to the beach since, although I must say, I've gone fishing many times, off of piers, banks, etc.

I only went on one cruise, and I was under the impression you could get room service, anything you wanted, 24 hours a day.

Well, I was wrong. There was pizza available 24 hours a day in the lounge, and room service was only cold sandwiches.

My question is, was it just this particular ship I was on (Carnival's Celebration Ship), or are they all pretty much like that?

Is there a cruiseline/ship that has more of a selection at 3am, or with a room service menu the same as what you would get from a restaraunt??

Good food, and food selection is VERY important to me, and I don't want to be stuck on another boat again for 7 days with mediocre food, and not too much food to choose from. My husband and I are night owls, and we like to eat good. We might go to bed early, then wake up at 1 am for drinks, then we want to eat, but we want something GOOD, not friggin pizza and lunch meat sandwiches!!

Ok well my aunt and her family went on the Carnival Sensation during Thanksgiving, she got sea sick, she tried those patches and it did not work, she went to the ship doctor and they gave her a shot, it sstoped her from vomitting but she got knocked out for the rest of the day, which she didn't like cuz she wanted to enjoy the ship.
So after they came back she told my mom about it, and my mom gets sea sick just looking at the ocean! so ya shes queezy, so we were planning to go in June to Cozumel on Carnival Fascination, and I want to know what medicine she can use (off the counter or presription is ok) that is strong and will work for her
and my aunt tried the patches and no luck.

Now my mom doesnt wanna go cuz shell get it worse than my aunt!!

thanks!!!!!!!

anyways lol heres a joke my cuzin said to my aunt on the cruise

Aunt: Vommiting in toilet
Cusin: Mom you are acting like you are pregant!

lol!

This is my first time going on a cruise (Royal Carr.) and I was wondering what I should take with me when they port. I know I'll need a credit card and passport but should I take anything else? For example, if I want to just lay out on the beach ... should I take a towel on shore with me?

How much does drinks cost on carnival cruises? Also is the food paid for with your ticket? And the activities, do they cost anything on the ship? Off the ship is it cheaper to find the activities yourself or thru carnival?? Also would you suggest carnival or another cruise line for a couple around 25-26 years old?

I asked Carnival, and they no longer offer a roommate matching service. Some of us singles would want the convenience of not paying double the price for the room and meeting someone as a roomate into the bargain. Any ideas?

okay, I was wondering if the following would be okay:
my family consists of two adults, three minors. If I were to book a suite for one adult an interior room for one adult and three kids, would it be okay if the family all stayed in the suite? Would that be illegal in cruise terms? or do they really care who stays where as long as everything is paid for?
