Princess are dressier. You'll need bathing suits and regular shorts and tshirt for day. I always think you should carry something long sleeves and jeans b/c you never know if one day is windy, but for the most part it's going to be HOT!!

At night, if you eat in the dining room it's dressy. Black pants and button down shirt. A couple nights will be formal so a tie would be necessary. Really as a kid I don't think you need the full suit. As most kids rush back and change immediately after dinner, you could take just a couple pairs and wear the same ones each night.

Help you downsize. Cruise ships provide bath stuff--shampoo, body gel--in the shower. Carry a loofah, toothbrush and toothpaste.

Some days you'll probably just be in your bathsuit all day at the pool. So you don't really need tons of extra clothing. Wear all pairs of pants twice. For shoes, carry very comfortable tennis shoes for walking in port, sandals for the pool, and a pair of dress shoes. If you still need more room in your suitcase, buy one of those vacuum bags. That should help you.

You will need regular summer clothes, some nice pants and shirts to wear to dinner, and a formal dress. Do not forget 2 bathins suits, and comfortable shoes. No one is really going to expect a 13 yo to be really dressed up during the day, and none of the other kids will be either.
