You have basically four cruise options from California. During the May through September time frame there are cruises to Alaska, with a stop in Vancouver or some other Canadian port. During certain times of the year you can take a cruise from California (San Diego or LA) to Hawaii and back; a 14-15 day cruise with a stop in Ensenada, Mexico. The majority of the cruises from California go to Mexico ports of Cabo St Lucas, Extapa, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, and maybe a couple other places. And finally you can take a cruise from California to Mexican ports and then through the Panama Canal to the Caribbean where there will be a couple or three port stops like Costa Rica, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, or some other islands and then to Miami or Ft Lauderdale.
