I'm looking to find low prices for cruises other than what Royal Caribbean advertise on yahoo and their web site.

There are a couple things that you can do to get lower priced cruises. First and most importantly, book very early. By early I mean 9 months to a year or more early. All of the cruise lines give early booking discounts and the earlier you book the better for the price. Second, you have to plan to go when the price is the best. Many times the exact same cruise will cost hundreds more on different dates. So be very flexible on when you want to go cruise. Also be aware that some cruises have a season. For example Alaska is May through Sept and Canada/New England is June through November. So you cannot cruise to some places any time of year.

In addition to that, most of the discounts cruises are shown right on the cruise line web site. So if you are shopping for a discount or deal, just go to the cruise line web sites and browse. I know that Royal Caribbean advertises its deals or specials as "HOT DEALS". So go to their site and click on the link that is right on their home page: "See All Hot Deals". The dates for their "deals" will be shown in red and will cover a variety of cruises.

Carnival Cruise line has a link on its home page for "SPECIALS", so click on it for their deals.

Norwegian cruise line also has a home page link for specials:

There area a lot of new cruise ships which has caused priced to drop on many lines. You just have to shop around to find the specials. My suggestion is to always use the cruise line web sites vs the other sites advertising cruises because on the cruise line sites you can see ALL of the options for the cruise you are interested in.

Have a look at the cruise line websites and find and price the cruise that you want.
When you have the ship, dates and idea of the actual cruise line price, Google for cheap cruise travel sites and look for the best deal. Sometimes the cruise line site offers the cheapest deal
If you are looking for airfare as well, it is usually cheaper to book and arrange it yourself, cruise lines usually charge a lot to add on air travel.
Good luck on your search.

Look through the other travel websites, like Orbitz or Travel Zoo or Travelocity. They'll show you more cruise lines than just Royal Caribbean. Look for INSIDE cabins (you won't have a window, but the fare is cheaper).

No, the ideas are no longer lined in the fee of the cruise. you're precise on the subject of the top that Carnival Cruises and probable maximum if no longer each and every of the cruise traces have a stated quantity to furnish. yet now, right here is the place is gets a sprint severe priced, the state room attendant usually gets a tip from you, and the maître d' in the eating room, and your waiter in case you establish the formal eating quite of the buffet's. The cruise line won't purely immediately can charge your credit card, in basic terms till you authorize it. They usually bypass away the tipping as much as you, yet for all of the amenities that are offered for you, with the aid of different workers, you are able to desire to tip in accordance to the amenities rendered to you. i desire this permits.

Royal is what it is you will not get discounts legally anyways, they have a strict policy on it, Also I would look into another cruise line anyway. There overpriced and they use to be good but not no more.
