I posted earlier about the issue with my TA asking for me to pay him some commission that he thinks the cruiseline gave me as a discount to my fare.

I am worried that a confrontation will get my cruise cancelled since they are in control of it.

Can I transfer the booking back to myself any way? Do I have to talk to the Travel Agency or my Agent in order to do this?

We are leaving July 15th, traveling from Barcelona, to sicily, to naples, rome, florence, cannes, then back to Barcelona. I was just wondering if the weather in the mediteranean during summer months was actually like summer weather, which is what we are hoping for. Thanks for any responses!

My brother is getting married this summer on June 30. They are thinking a cruise and im partly in charge of planning but I dont know where to begin. They are thinking tropical and starting in California (northern) and heading down to Mexico about 7 days. These are my questions:

What is the best cruise for honeymooners (not a kid or party ship)

Also what cruise is the best known quality

What is a cruise that goes to many ports, rather than just a quick drop to Mexico and back... I many a few good stops

Any help would be great! Thanks

I've been told that the staterooms on the Diamond Princess are non smoking and smoking. Is this true, if so do the rooms smell badly of smoke? Is the entire boat going to smell of smoke?

My boyfriend and I are thinking about booking a cruise for October. We are going to go through a travel agent because I have heard horror stories of going straight through the cruise lines. We are thinking either the Bahamas or the Caribbean. Which do you think is better and why? Do I need a passport? Are there any suggestions anybody can give that I wouldn't have thought about? Also, experiences are great to hear about.

We've signed up for a snorkeling trip when our ships stops in Aruba. Does anybody know how the tour operator "sanitizes" their snorkel gear - if at all? Or do they just throw it on the side and wait for the next person to come along?

A friend suggested that since I booked the tour through the cruise ship, and the cruise ship "inspects/approves" the tour operators it does business with, that they would have to follow some sanitary measures. He also suggested that I bring a pocket size Listerine with me and pour it over the mouthpiece.

It's a jungle out there!

I'm going on my first cruise for Spring Break! Just wondering if anyone has any helpful tips or tricks because i've never been cruising before. Any hints, or things I should know/ remember/ bring, anything would help.

(I'll be on the Grand Princess, if anyone has any tips specific to that ship.) Thanks much!

Hi! I just booked a cruise with Carnival. I am going to Belize, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Honduras. I was wondering if everytime I need to get off the ship, do I need to bring my passport or only my sail &sign card? They told me I only need to bring the sail & sign card plus an ID (License, not including passport). I really want to know since I don't want to take my passport to the ports of call. Can anyone tell me? thanks!!!!!!! if you could also include any info about the ports of call, like if it was an easy debarkation, if they were strict, etc... I would really appreciate it!

My husband and I are thinking about going on the Eastern Carribean cruise in November on the Valor. Has anyone been on this cruise? Also, what are good excursions to do in Nassau, St. Thomas, & St. Martin. Also, should we book midship on the Upper deck, or Riviera (I tend to get easily sea sick, and we have sailed on the Riviera deck before on the Elation). Thanks!
