Do something stupid like me....I met and fell insanely in love with cruise line security officer. Got married after almost 2 years, and then after nearly 4 years total together, found out he wasn't all he claimed to be. Molested my daughter, then tried to run me off the interstate one night. Long drawn out divorce, custody battle with my daughter's father, then the criminal trial. He pled guilty, went to prison, and was then deported. Thank God we all survived it. Be careful!!!!

Just got back from a cruise ands the worst thing that happened was I didn't bring/have enough play money and I gained 5 pounds. With the amount of safety, security and health precautions now cruising is great. Just enjoy it.

All of the above, or your excursion could get back to the port late, and you'll be left in the pier staring at your ship leaving the dock.
No, they don't wait for anyone.
Could also be like a cruise my kids went on.
The propellor broke and the ship just went out to the middle of the ocean and turned around and came back. No ports.
They called it the cruise to nowhere.

The shower water is only cold! Or the more tragic, your ship sinks or you get hit by a hurricane. But I love Cruises and nothing bad has happened!

There are so many things that can go wrong on a ship (i.e. Titanic, Posidon, Princess ship tilting, Princess ship catching on fire, Norwegian Dawn being slammed by a rogue wave). But, cruises are worth the risk. Go on one and you'll know what I mean.

Fire in the middle of the night. Smoke all over in the corridors and you didn't pay attention during the safety instructions (if you attended in the first place) and have no idea where the nearest exit is. Also the crew panicked and left the ship in the life boats and life rafts.

Good luck!

What's the point of thinking of the "worst thing"? I go on cruises to have fun. Am leaving on my next one the 29th. ☺

Probably attacked by pirates, hit by a rouge wave like the Poseidon, or hit by a hurricane.

Falling overboard or maybe just going overboard at the midnight buffet!
