My brother is getting married this summer on June 30. They are thinking a cruise and im partly in charge of planning but I dont know where to begin. They are thinking tropical and starting in California (northern) and heading down to Mexico about 7 days. These are my questions:

What is the best cruise for honeymooners (not a kid or party ship)

Also what cruise is the best known quality

What is a cruise that goes to many ports, rather than just a quick drop to Mexico and back... I many a few good stops

Any help would be great! Thanks

I've done 4 cruises on Royal Carribean (one was a homeymoon), and I've never been disappointed. If you want to go out and party, you can. If you want to just be left alone, you can do that too. Basically, with Royal, it's anything you want, anytime you want it. My one to Mexico was a short 4 day cruise with college buddies, so I couldn't tell you about a lot port stops (we were in the party mode). The others have all be Carribean cruises. I never wanted to come back. My wife (who didn't think she'd like a cruise and now is addicted) and I are planning another, and it will be on RC too. Her best friend did Carnival and didn't like it. Look them up online. Good luck!

By the way, if they do go on RC, a nice gift for them would be one of the spa treatments. I bought it for my wife and they PAMPERED the bejeezers out of us. It was awesome.

Unfortunately most cruise lines have diverted sailing either to Alaska or Europe. The only ship sailing for 7 nights to Mexico at that time is Carnival. They do have 3 to 6 nights on both Carnival and RCL, but they use older ships.

If you can go for 12 nights, there is a nice Hawaiian cruise R/T from LAX on the Regal Princess. If you can only go on a 7 night, Alsaka is spectacluar. I never wanted to go, but after my first trip, I returned 5 more times.

The best cruise line outside of the Luxury lines is by far Celebrity.

Trust me, I have been on over 80 cruises!

Here are the Cruise Lines that go to Mexico in July, Windjammer, Royal Caribbean and Carnival. I enjoyed Carnival, but I don't think its suitable for your situation. So that leaves Royal Caribbean and Windjammer. From this website it appears that windjammer is a upper class cruise line, with prices $1200 minimum. Royal Caribbean is a middle class cruise ship. There will be children, but if you are looking for something cheaper then $1200, then this would be an option.

Overall it doesn't appear there is much variety in cruise ships going to Mexico in July.

If they want tropical there is always the Caribbean, leaving from Miami.

It looks like its going to be hard trying to avoid children, unless you choose a really upscale Cruise ship.

Try this website.
All their deals on here exactly the same as the other websites, but most times at cheaper rates.

You can find everything from cruises to flights, to hotels ..

Good Luck!
