If you are looking for a job onboard, it is better to apply directly with the cruiseline. There are some job sites that post jobs on ships and don't require any money.

It is actually a scam when these "agencies" take money for your application. Here is a quote from the Carnival website..

"Please be advised that these fraudulent ads are in no way endorsed by or affiliated with Carnival Cruise Lines. We encourage interested persons to apply directly to Carnival Cruise Lines by following the instructions on this web-site for the specific position being offered."

Try some of the following...

www.carnival.com
www.rccl.com
www.ncl.com
www.disneycruise.com
www.hollandamerica.com

and for job sites...

www.monster.com
www.hcareers.com.uk

Good luck and have fun.

You can go to the website of the cruise line you are applying for which should have a link to "careers" or "join our team" or something along those lines. It will give you a list of the types of positons and how to apply directly to the cruise line. For example, I had applied to work for Norwegian (ncl.com) and it was easy to do. There is also a website where for around $30 you can download a lengthy pdf file which tells you everything you need to know about getting a cruise ship job. I recomend using a search enging like ask jeeves to find it. Try typing "how do i get a job on a cruise ship"
