Amtrak runs a connnector bus from downtown Vancouver to downtown Seattle. It takes about four hours and cost less than $30 a person and they do senior/AAA discounts.

Go to https://www.clippervacations.com/ And They have a Transportation section and enter Vancouver and Seattle and the date you need and your age and how many people and then click search and it gives you prices.....And I'm not sure if there is a direct ferry from Vancouver to Seattle i think you would have to transfer on a few boats so it might be best to take a train or bus and if your not from Washington you will get to see it..Added bonus on your trip!!.. I once read a brochure that ofered a trip by boat.. it goes through the San Juan Islands and it´s suppose to be very nice (it´s not really a cruise, it´s smailler and I think it takes like 1 or 2 days
