i want to just leave this life in america. getting a job, worrying about income, paying bills, for gas, and all that. i just want to drop it all and live in the wild.. preferably in Jamaica (i have my reasons). I want to just roam the island, living off food i get.. like fruit..fish...etc...etc.. sleep in a hut i build with my own hands. and just live what i consider would be a 'pure way of life'. a way of life that is stress free. and i would make the money i need by simply selling things at the markets.. but is there the chance of getting murdered,robbed,or ne thing like that? people tell me that it will happen since most of the pop. are poor.and would the government just take me and send me back to the states? wud i have to get jamaican citizenship (i dont plan to live like this forever, maybe for about 2-5 years. is this idea possible? please help me out...

I am looking to go on a trip (cruise or resort) in the Caribbean in early September 2006... looking for a good last minute deal leaving from Ottawa or Toronto Canada. I am a language student about to spend my year abroad in Cuba. I need to be able to access money and want to know the best way for my parents to send me money from England. Are there any recommended methods???? I have a Barclays bank account in the UK, however I am aware that using cashpoints etc can be very very expensive. Are there any better methods? I will be there for 10 months.
