Been to both. I really thought they were very similar and cannot recommend one over the other.

Both are fine and you will relax and enjoy!

Look, i'm gonna tell ya the truth now. I've never been 2 Anguilla. but i heard is very pretty. i go 2 Aruba every year. coz i am from Curaçao. which is at the right of Aruba. Aruba is very pretty. and don't say ur not going bcoz a girl got lost. every where u go, there goes ppl missing. i think that is a laim reason not 2 visit an island. ok, a girl got lost, and she's not still found i think. so what?! it does not mean that is gonna happen 2 u. i go every year. and notting ever happened 2 me or my family. i recommend u go 2 Aruba. nice beaches, warm weather it has everything. and if ur going, i recommend La Cabana suite hotel. it's big (not in the city though) but it's a suite place and it's not x-pensive.

Aruba was like a big flea market. Even the Carlos and Charlies was lame. Cayman Islands is expensive. Even more than the US. I had tons more fun at the Island of Antigua. That was a real hoot! People with dread locks and musical instruments all around. Beer on every corner ice cold. Great food and some of the nicest prettiest girls south of Miami.

Both are very similar in topography, speaking English, good restaurants, nice sandy beaches and turquoise water, low low crime rate and unemployment. They don't hustle you much on the beach like they do in Mexico. The only big difference is that Aruba has gambling and is out of the hurricane belt. Aruba is noted for better windsurfing and Cayman is noted for Scuba diving.

Do you want to snorkel? I, in my opinion am hesitant of going to the Cayman islands or the Bahamas in the course of the summer because it is typhoon season. Now Aruba is thus far south it is out of the typhoon zone, yet it is warm in June and July. understand, that the summer months contained in the carribean is extremely their off season. Now, i have under no circumstances been to the Bahamas yet even if you've sparkling water or no longer relies upon on if there's a reef on the sea coast to dam the sea waves.

If you love beaches--click on Antigua and Barbuda's websites. The combined twin-islands have over 400 beaches--including two pink sand beaches--many uninhabited. One pink sand beach stretches 17 miles and has not even a building on it.
The visibility is second to none. We sail there all the time.

Boaz.

Cayman Islands is a very,very,small island; however they have the best temperature water if you like to dive; its perfect; in the world the temp is; if you like to scuba; go to caymans; its hard to find decent food in the caymans; i have never been to Aruba but i heard if you like to gamble; its a good place. hope that helps;
