Years ago they had great beach resorts at low prices. With political unrest most closed down, but I noticed some airlines are now starting flights to Haiti again. Are there any nice beach resorts open again?

Has anyone ever been? Where do I start? What are the airfare prices like? Where do I stay? What airline do I use? What's the best time of year to go? Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

My Fiancè and I are planning a short 4-5 night vacation for late spring to somewhere in the Carribbean. I have been to the Bahamas several times (Atlantis and Cable Beach) but never to Jamaica or Mexico. We want something laid back, where we can lay on the beach and sip on frozen drinks all day. We like to gamble a little, but don't really do the club scene, although we don't mind the atmosphere. I also like some shopping/exploring, which I thought was a bit lacking in Nassau, but the beaches are the most important thing to me. Where should I go? I have listed the three suggestions because I know they are similarly priced but all suggestions are welcome. No cruise suggestions please, I have not had a good experience with them.

Thanks!

I cant decide where I want to go. I found a house for $300 usd/wk in Utila. I am not much of a diver. I would actually like to just go to be around the water and the sand. Can anyone help with a decision? I will be flying from Dallas so whatever is easier to get to also. I want to go end of July beginning of August.

I would like to travel to the carribbean soon, possibly this coming summer or christmas and it would be nice where the prettiest beaches are, the greatest exclusive resorts for as low price as you can find, and where the drinking age isn't usually checked. I just want to have some fun with friends and family, get a tan, go clubbing, jet skiing, parasailing, etc.

Is there anything that a 15 year-old teen can do with her best friend? Are their any clubs? Are they really strict on age? What is a gorgeous carribbean island, that you think I should visit? Are cruises better?

I just want to have some fun in the sun.

We are thinking about departing from New Orleans and we'd like to stay for more than a few hours at each stop. We would prefer Western Carribean and multiple ports of call. Thanks for your help!!
