My kids are not too big on the beach scene.

I live on St. Maarten, and even I had a hard time with your question. The beaches, gambling, and the bars/clubs are the most popular! I do have a few ideas though.

1. Go to Loterie Farms. They have a huge ropes course and hiking trails near the middle of the island on the French side.
2. Take the Lord Sheffield pirate day cruise from Philipsburg. They have a pirate ship and take everyone out on the ocean and teach them how to sail an old fashioned pirate's ship.
3. Take the ferry to Anguilla and swim with the dolphins. You actually get in the pool with them, feed them, and let them pull you around the water.
4. Go to Cape Bay and go horseback riding. The horses walk along trails, the beach, and even a little swim in the water with you on their backs.
5. Hike (or drive) to the top of Fort Louis in Marigot.
6. Rent a boat, jet ski, rhino rides, or even go parasailing.
7. Go to the Butterfly Farm.
8. Take a tour of the island (kinda obvious, but always fun)
9. Go scuba diving or snorkeling.
10. Go to Grand Case and go on the submarine ride. Each person gets their own window to look out.

Good luck and have fun!
