I'm an American, living in Ohio, and in the times I've been to Canada -- particularily Toronto -- I always find it packed with Brits, both tourists and those living there.

Can any Brit or Canadian please explain this phenomenon to me??

Not the iced cappuccinos, but I'm wondering if they sell iced coffee at the Tim Hortons in Canada? I'm visiting family in Toronto next week, and my cousin told me that they don't, but she usually goes to Starbucks so I'm not sure if she is right or not.

They have them at the one's here in Kentucky and I can't go a day without one!! Do they have them in Canada?

Hello everyone and good evening,

I am going to be attending a charity gala in Toronto on November 3rd, and being that it will be my first time in the city, I would like to know if anyone can recommend an area of the city (or perhaps the suburbs) where I might look into getting a room. I don't mind traveling on the subway, as long as I can be within walking distance, no more than half a mile at least. Also, what areas are undesirable and should be avoided? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!-Steve.

I want to get to the Toronto International Airport by the TTC on saturday afternoon. There is a bus line, the number 300 that goes but only in the mornings. How can I get there by the TTC? Is there another cheap way?

I'm from Toronto, and I say no.

It's a great city to live in, but world class? Our waterfront is a mess, we have huge financial problems, and there isn't enough in Toronto to make it world class. The people who run Toronto could make it world class if they wanted, but they aren't.

Historic Rome is world-class, France is world class, New York city is world class. Toronto? No sadly it isn't. If we have to tell people our city is world class, or work to make it so, then we aren't world class.

Glad I got that off my chest, does anybody agree with me?

I'm taking a short two-day trip to Toronto in October. What should I do and see in the city, besides the usual tourist attractions such as the CN Tower, Eaton Centre, Toronto Zoo, etc? I'd like to utilize the subway system as much as possible, so naming the subway station with the destination would be much appreciated!
