Go to a hotel, a store, a mall. When a foreigner comes in, he or she get a warm greeting, but when a filipino comes in they do say a greeting but there's no warmth. it's like they just blurt it out because they were instructed to do it by management.

I noticed in the philippines people always say a good family .A re they implying that if you are not finanically stable you didn't come from a good family. Are there families that are good but aren't stable financially . To me the phrase a "good family" is ludicrous all families have ghost somewhere if you look deep enough. WHAT IS A GOOD FAMILY ?

Hey everyone! Me and my boyfriend will be in the Pasay, Philippines and I heard that the SM Mall of Asia is the newest and largest mall in the Philippine. Are there any pension houses and hotels that are near said landmark? My budget is only $25.00 a night for us two, even less. Thanks guys!

My partner and I are both Australian and we are wanting to wed in the Philippines later in the year. We have had trouble getting through to the Aust consulate in Manilla to ask further questions about obtaining the marriage certificate and the CNI. Do we have to get the marriage certificate in Manilla and do appointments usually have to be made or can you just show up? Do you definately get one if you have all the right paperwork (10 days). Also does anyone know whether we are recognised as being married in Queensland? Does this just involve changing my last name?
We are thinking of getting married at Fridays at Boracay - has anyone wed there before? Or have any suggestions for another location.

I am a young black american man married to a filipina.
I really like filipino people and the close family oriented culture.
I wish that my black american family were close the way the filipino's are.

I am very much in Love with my (filipina) wife and I feel offended when I hear other americans talking bad about filipna women.

I know that there are slutty and cheap women all over the world who are NOT filipina. There is good and bad within every race.

I have 2 baby girls who are half filipina. I know that there are plenty of decent, educated, clean and beautiful filipina out there with good morals.

My job permits me to travel to Philippines often and I recognize that
SOME american men who are not affiliated with filipino's don't understand
filipino people at all.

SOME of the arrogant american men are spreading negative perceptions of filipina women.

I wish I knew how to correct and educate these ignorant men. HOW?
