It entirely depends where in America you are going- If it;s the East Coast, the flight usualy ranges from 19-21 hours (depends on the flight you are taking) and if it;s the West coast it usually ranges from 12-16 hours :) Hope this answers all your questions :)

It depends, where in America and what Airline?
My experience was, Philippine Airline straight flight Mla. to LA took me 13-14 hours. Cathay Pacific from Mla to LA took me 17-18 hours with layover in Hongkong for 3-4 hours.

Without layovers from the Philippines to the US (California) approximately 14 -19 hours in the air. Add in layovers and such and it takes longer.

Manila - Tokyo 4.25 hours
Tokyo - San Francisco 13.5 hours

Manila - Honolulu 7.25 hours

Actually it varies with wind current and flight plans. One time it took 18 hours and once from LA straight to Manila it only took 15. PAL is the best to fly also.
