sadly in the Philippines, means a family is wealthy and members of the family are all professionals and successful. but believe me that people who says this are ignorant. and sadly, most of them are ignorant. a good family for me means- God fearing and a family that has moral values and respect one another and respect their neighbor. and also shares how little they have to the needy.

it's a bit pathetic.sometimes people judge a family as a good one based on what they see from them - say the family goes to church every sunday, they participate in the masses, provides enough funds for the church but the truth is, the father has long been unfaithful to the wife, the father has always been irresponsible, those kinds.
in general, a good family is described as those who have parents with stable jobs or businesses and they were able to send all their kids in school, but that also includes the kids should have finished their degree and are all professionals.not necessarily wealthy.
but i don't agree with that, many parents haven't reached college but were able to raise their families well.
