We may be better off financially with cheaper flights (if you are able to book far enough in advance to benefit from the deals) but do you feel we are better off in terms of the overall package, quality, enjoyability etc?

I am going to Marsa Alam in November and would like to know what the leg room is like on these planes. I've been to Egypt before on First choice airlines and found them terrible. I've only found one airline that has good leg room and that was Egypt Air.

I'm suppose to be moving from Pitt, PA to Cali. I never got on a plane but I got over my fear. I will be nervous when I get on but people on yahoo answer made me feel better. Well anyways, my older sister and her three kids have to get down there. I was going to ride down there on a plane with her while my parents and sister and brother go down there by car. But we don't have enough room for all of us to get down there. Its a 7 passager car and there is 9 of us. We can't get two vechicals because there is two drivers and my dad is the night driver and my mom is daytime driver. So I was going to get on the plane which will take 5 hours. How would I convince her to go down there by plane? No flames please.

Is it true that, when flying from the U.S. to Europe or Asia, planes are actually heading towards Greenland, due to the Earth's circumference or rotation, or for any other reason?

It was printed on my boarding pass that I belonged to "i" class.
The next person to me in my flight had class "X" printed.
If we blonged to different classes, why did we land up in the same cabin?

I just found out this afternoon that one of my good friends was killed in a car accident last night. The funeral will be sometime this week in Florida, and I'm looking for cheap airfare to get down there. (I'm in Tennessee.)

I know the airlines have bereavement rates for family members. Is there any airline that has discounted rates even if you are not family?

Does anyone have any advice on finding a cheap rate? I've checked most of the travel websites with no luck. =(

Any help is greatly appreciated. Even if someone felt compelled to donate some frequent flier miles???

I can find cheap international tickets from airlines of other countries (Ethiopia Air, AirIndia), but to purchase the ticket online, I need an address in the departing country. Anyone know another way to get tickets from these companies?

I'm planning on taking a flight, but I don't know how early I should arrive. I need to make sure I don't miss my flight, so how early should I arrive to allow security and stuff? I'm not taking any luggage, but on the way back I am. How long should I give it? I mean, I have to travel 47 miles somewhere, then back, which I estimate is about 2 hours. My flight gets there at 11:05, and my other flight leaves at 1:20, if I choose that one. Will I have enough time? Should I take a different flight?
