In a car, if you crash, it's going to happen quickly and unexpectedly. On a plane your going to have a few minutes of terror before you hit the ground.

Yes I am. I'm trying to get over it to plan a trip. I came home 9/8/2001 from Jamaica and 3 days later the attacks happened. I'm in Philadelphia and the city was on high alert. I just don't feel the same flying anymore. I went to Vegas in 2004 and was uneasy the whole flight.

Not affraid to fly..I actually love to fly and would fly as often as I could. If the plane is gonna crash and I am on it well then its my time to go..No different than when I get in the car and make a raod trip..if GOD wants me to come home, well I am happy to go. If he says I am here on earth a while longer well I'll keep living each day to the fullest.

It's not the flying that gets to me, it's the loss of control. I'm a control freak and when I'm the pilot, I'm fine, but get me on as a passenger with no access to the cockpit and I'm a mess. Go figure.
