I can find cheap international tickets from airlines of other countries (Ethiopia Air, AirIndia), but to purchase the ticket online, I need an address in the departing country. Anyone know another way to get tickets from these companies?

Why not just call the airline? Most of those countries have ineffective online systems. I'm sure they'll sell tickets to an international traveller with a major credit card.
Alternatively: Give your temporary hotel address.

Travel agent.
They can get any airline ticket u want without lieing to the airline.
Go to the agent and they will get you your ticket no problem
