How do I convince my sister to get on a plane?

I'm suppose to be moving from Pitt, PA to Cali. I never got on a plane but I got over my fear. I will be nervous when I get on but people on yahoo answer made me feel better. Well anyways, my older sister and her three kids have to get down there. I was going to ride down there on a plane with her while my parents and sister and brother go down there by car. But we don't have enough room for all of us to get down there. Its a 7 passager car and there is 9 of us. We can't get two vechicals because there is two drivers and my dad is the night driver and my mom is daytime driver. So I was going to get on the plane which will take 5 hours. How would I convince her to go down there by plane? No flames please.

Statistically, you are much more likely to have a car crash than a plane crash. In other words, far more people die in car crashes each year than in plane crashes. I fly between 80 and 100 times each year and I have never had any problems. (I fly more often than I drive too - I l ive in a city, take the subway to work and don't own a car. I am far more comfortable on a plane than I am in a car).

Well since your sister has kids so i understand why she doesn't want to leave them to the car ride. Why not ask your brother to go on the plane with you?

Start by telling her to get in the plane rather than on. I believe the outside seats are a bit windy

tell to your sister that nowadays great people usuallly get on the plane so you should try that experience because not all of us are given a chance to get on plane. tell her that dont be afraid becoz GOD is always watching you. for first timer it is quite nervous but tel to her that your family will be more happy if all of you will be together..
