Really I was surprising that the level of the service was very low even if you requested special service by phone. You need to wait a least one hour till get the requested Taxi and if you are waiting in road you will not catch any taxi. Do you believe that ????

If I get the 512 KBps DSL connection by Etisalat, what average speed can I expect while downloading a file?
From my stay in Abu Dhabi, I understood that Etisalat has a virtual monopoly on Internet connectivity at least in that emirate. They tend to block (what according to them are) profane websites; I was wondering if they also block traffic on P2P file sharing programs like Limewire, Morpheus etc. These are programs people use to download hundreds of Mp3s etc.
I like to download songs and play them on my computer so I was curious.

For instance, If you are in dubai and you want to travel to Sharjah, how do you know when you are in Sharjah Emirate? Are there certain checkpoints or do you need a passport to get into Sharjah? Are there signs telling you that you are in a different Emirate? Please explain

Hi, I live in Canada and would like to get a job teaching in the middle east, although I would like it to either Saudi Arabia, UAE or Egypt. I have my bachelors and a tesol/tesl certificate. Hey I just moved to Dubai and I would like to ask anybody who know any cheap way I can get to call the US on a cheap rate. All I have is in the US and I gotta call back atleast every single day or two so I gotta find a way thats affordable. Plus Im not here on a business trip or whatever, somehow I am a student so I dont have the big pockets so anything affordable and reliable will be appreciated. And yeah if anything to do with my US number I dont have it. Thanks
