Is it easy to get a job in Dubai??? I will be in Dubai this 1st quarter of the year under visit visa, but when i get there, i have plans to eventually find work. I’m 31 years old and I’m a legal secretary/assistant.

I think it would be little difficult to find out secretarial and administration jobs in Dubai. As per the recently implemented UAE Labour law, these categories are reserved for nationals.
Anyhow, since you are a qualified person you can look for some other openings which are suitable for you as per your your qualification and experience.

I don't think that it will be easy to find a job in this field.
The Ministry of Labour has decided last year on emiratisation of human resources managers and secretaries post. Labour officials say the move is meant to create thousands of jobs for UAE nationals.
In this resolution, Dr. al Ka'abi has banned issuing of emplyment permit for the male/female secretary to any private sector company in the country.
Companies willing to recruit a new male/female secretary or replace them are demanded to contact TANMIA to nominate national job-seekers for the position at the expense of the concerned firms.
In other words: You will only have a chance to get a job, if there is no UAE National to fill this position. And here it will depend on your qualification and experience. Expect a salary of Dhs 4.000 - 6.000 what is not much for Dubai if not other benefits come with it.

It is not so difficult, but Dubai is expensive and the rents are soooo high, make sure it's a good offer that pays for your home also.
