I heard its a boring place to live is this true? I will be moving there by the end of this year, and am leaving all my family and friends behind

Don't worry about a thing. Many foreigner work in Doha. Be an outgoing person and soon you'll find contact. You could join the expat forum in Qatar already, communicate with people and make contacts even before you go there.

I lived there for 7 years I grew up there I loved it..I cant say you will but personally i loved it. I mean Dubai if you meant that ..But Doha I don't like.

If you are sayin Doha it means Qatar... not UAE..anyway..Doha is small city..Dubai is much more better
