How is the level of DUBAI TRANSPORTATION service ?

Really I was surprising that the level of the service was very low even if you requested special service by phone. You need to wait a least one hour till get the requested Taxi and if you are waiting in road you will not catch any taxi. Do you believe that ????

I love Dubai! Maybe you should tell the Convention & Visitor's bureau. I heard they're new Metro system will be full-scaled and high class. Maybe things can change if you tell the Tourism place.

Yes, I do not only believe it, I also know it. That's why I drive my car. It's also worse, when you get a cab and then the driver refuses to go where you want to (Sharjah in rush hour).

can you believe i cant get a cab in the mornings to go to my work place ?!
and the wondering is that its not at traffic line at all.
but whatever its very very bad even the public transportation its allways full and the quality is so bad specially during summer

public transportation is really not very good for now but i am sure with the intoduction of MRT its sure to be better soon.
the only reason its not as good as it should be is because its cheap to have ur own car here so every person who comes here for permanent residence buys a car at he 1st opportunity , may be it could be true the other way round also .

Yes Khalid, you are right. Service is worst, especially in a city like Dubai. I also had the same bitter experience recently. They should upgrade the way of their service.

i never wait a cab to pick me for more than one hour.In my country public transporation is so efficient,convinient and cheap too
