I mean in general. I always hear people say that some nations are very forgiving and others are very patient. Some nations are very forthcoming. How about South Africans?

This is a "happy" question and shouldn't be taken too serious. Here goes: Imagine yourself on a hospital bed and about to have facial reconstruction, for whatever reason. The surgeon turns around and asks what South African celeb you would like to look like. Who do you choose and why?

And what do we, as South Africans, have to do to make it happen?

Was curious about the following after having met egyptians both in the states and in egypt--this is the only forum I'm able to ask some of the questions candidly so a pre apology to anyone who is offended by my curiosity.

Do egyptian men who acquired citizenship and married amer. women not leave them 2 marry an egyptian woman in their home country not do that for what reason if it's not for love that they're still involved. Are the egyptian women as experimental in positions w/ their lovers as american women are (i.e., is fellatio widely practiced in egypt? does the koran prohibit/encourage fellatio/cunnilingus @least btwn. a married couple)? Do u think the stereotype of men wanting a "lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets" applicable to egy. men as well? Also, it seems there are many chubby women in egyptian? Is chubbiness appreciated more in egy than the usa? Exercise regimens seemed uncommon in egy 4 both men and womenis it the diet/the possible appreciation ofchub?

Am going to give birth and decided upon one of the 2 names (either wael/sofian) and the arabs I've met here in the houston area aren't familiar w/ the names meanings...no, am not following the tradition of naming the child after the father, I think there are enough people in egypt w/ his name of ahmed. Plus I'll tack on a giovanni +/franco middle name to it--difficult to find ANY italian name that flows well w/ an arab name. anyway, that's life. So if someone can tell me the names meanings or come up w/ an arab-italian name mixture that sounds ok to you, all the more power to you =) thanks in advance. Ever heard of an Arab named Franky/giovanni? Hee-hee, well there might be one.

Don't you think Jesus knows more than the total knowledge of “humanity?” Why do you think you know more than Him and why can't you just except Him? He is the only one that promised to save you.

Here is my experience, tell me where were you when the war broke out, and what did you do?

We live in Chicago. I took my kids to see their grandparents, in ras Beirut and the war broke out. We got stuck and could not return to the US.

We escaped to Jounieh while Beirut was being bombed. stayed at the hotel next to where the Israelis bombed. So we escaped to Broumana which was packed and the prices went sky high. We then waited until the American embassy got their act together and got us out on a cruise ship to Cyprus, then on a charted plane to Baltimore in US. We bought our own tickets and flew to Chicago.

Quite an exprience for my children...now they saw what we went through when we were kids living in Lebanon during the Lebanese wars.

What is your story?

I really want to go to Lebanon this summer. Being from Tripoli, Lebanon, I love it there so much. My family and I went last summer, and unfortunately the bombings that went on prohibited us from staying as long as we wanted to. Do you think it is safe to go back?

Unemployment in Lebanon has jumped from 14% to around 20% following the 34 day war with Israel, reported the Daily Star. Trad Hamadeh, the Labour Minister, said that the destruction of many industrial plants had led to the widespread laying off of workers. Some sources have claimed that around 11,000 people have so far filed for remuneration from the National Social Security Fund.

What can you suggest that can fight unemployment in Lebanon ?
