I live in Korea and having a barbeque means grilling a couple of meat slices (like bacon) on a gas stove. This they do at a restaurant. But I like to braai big steaks and I buy mine from an American wholesale group. I recently got a roster the size of a camp stool (the biggest available here) and some wood. The neighbors are all vegetarians and don't like the smell of burning meat. What do I do? And what kinds of meat are easy to braai, quick to get off the grill and don't stink up the place. The best meats here are from Australia. I wanna keep in good with the neighbors. Any South Africans here that know the secret to having a good braai with so little to work with?

I'm sorry for all the people there and what's happening. Really.

But, what about being a bit cautious about picking destination spots that are on the State Department's lists of places to avoid?

I booked a sightseeing trip to Israel in early Sept. I am thinking of waiting until the end of the month to see if I need to cancel and book a trip elsewhere. What do you think?

I am an American citizen and my passport expired April 2006 of this year. I want to apply for a residence visa for Saudi Arabia and read that I must wait 6 months from when I first get my passport. Since I already had a passport (even though it expired this year) will I still have to wait 6 months? I did qualify for the renewal of my passport so in a sense it was still a good passport, it just needed an updated picture for it.

HI,
Next year i am planning to go on a trip to China. I want to visit Egypt and United Arab Emirates.
It will be my 1st visit to Egypt it appears that Cario is the main city with tourist attraction. My question is other than the pyramids what else can I check out there? and I am trying to avoid buying a travel package for Egypt because i don't want to get ripped off. What I thinking of doing was land at Cario Airport crab a taxi and get a hotel. Are there any tour bus programs avaiable at the airport or hotel? like NYC or i have to simply pay for taxi fares and go around city of cario.
what is my best option? since i am traveling solo.
