And mixed doubles etc. Nearly everybody in this year's Aus Open has a doubles match partnering a same sex player and a mixed doubles match. Really good top players such as Federer and Sharapova etc. do not participate in doubles, why? Some pairings are very random and seem as if they were just plucked from a hat.

I think that they are some of the most bias people I have heard. Pat Mcenroe is a bitter bitter man. A frustrated tennis player. Anyways, I was wondering if anybody else felt the same thing.

Apparently, I'm living in America and there isn't any post or TV schedule on the Australian Open and I'm trying to watch it...I don't know why but it could because of time difference or a special channel that I don't have. Do you know?

We saw M. Bagdhatis come close to winning last year and people loved it. People must be getting sick of seeing Federer / Roddick / Nadal winning all the time. Would it be good to see maybe an Andy Murray or Tursunov come out of nowhere and win the title? Even a James Blake or Mario Ancic who get little publicity during the open?

The other day i watched Kirilenko lost to Kunetzskova, unfortunately she's no match for the powerful Russian and she is quite exciting to watch.I think women's game have attracted a lot of spectators and publicity as well compare to 20 years ago!

I watched Andy & Marat, and paid attention to the results of other players matches, but didn't see or hear anything about James Blake today. Maybe I was in the bathroom or something and missed it. I hope that he is still hanging in there. I would love to see him do well.

Now that the match between Andy and Marat is over........that Andy might have a chance to win this whole thing? (Australian Open) I watched the entire battle and it was great entertainment. Andy has improved quite a bit now that he has Jimmy Connors as his coach. I haven't watched Andy for a while because he choked so much and made so many terrible mistakes and it just made me mad, but I was pleasantly surprised today. Marat was great, also, & he also has a new coach. Now that they are reinventing themselves, are they up-and-comers??? Tennis surely needs some new twists and turns.
