The top tennis bad guys in my opinion are McEnroe, Nastase, Tarango, and Gimelstob. Justin Gimelstob did not make the aussie list because he has not posted enough big results to consistently be among the top 50 in the world. He has been between 50 and 120 in the world for a long time. I have personally seen him bring linespersons and several ball kids to tears on multiple occasions. Definately among the top ranks of the tennis bad boy club. Having said that, I do enjoy watching him play because it is rarely ever dull, he gets under people's skin and the match can quickly turn into a train wreck at any time. Its like watching an acident on the side of the road-- you know the scene is bad, but you always have trouble just turning away and driving through.

After that match against Roddick, Safin is the baddest guy in tennis. Lol, I still like him though.
But Safin had a point. He wasn't comfortable playing on a some what wet floor. Plus he's coming off a knee injury, he doesn't want to get hurt again.
I like the fact that he's not afraid to say what is on his mind.

I don't think Safin is a bad guy, if he is then it's in a good sort of way. I can't stand some of the players on the ATP tour. John McEnroe certainly should be in that list.

Just know I would go with Radek Stepanek. But he is an amateur compared with guys like Connors, McEnroe, Nastase, and Panatta
