Russian Women are a whole differet story: Sharapova, Petrova, Kuznetsova, Dementieva, Safina, and the list goes on and on. Theyre just dominating women's tennis right now

in women yes cos u have a whole russian revolution coming through with sharapova,kuznetsova,dementieva,petrova,likhotseva,safina...they arer the best considering their overall progress meaning that a single person is not dominating but between them they are good performers.
in men i agree with shata that the spaniards are better ,not to say that russians are bad.they just seem a bit inconsistent but safin,davydenko,tursnov,youzny are definitely top class players.
