They are using it for the first time in the 2007 Australia Open

it is pretty good but it sometimes must be getting frustrating for the others with the ball being shown about 1 mm inside the line.
and i also feel it can make the match entertaining like in the roddick and safin match with 3 correct challenges in 3 games and safins arguements with the umpire considering his overruling and bad calls.so i think it adds a fun element as well.

Eh....they have had a try-out with this system before the Australian Open already, I think it was in Sydney.

I like it, would love to see it on all courts, so that all players get similar chances to challenge.
(mind you, it HAS made one mistake already, the pic clearly showed the ball out, but the reading under the pic said "Ball IN".
But hey, I really believe that in the end it's more accurate than the people who are assigned. BUT, I would not want to see all the lines-men and -women replaced by machines)

I wonder why they only fitted one in in the Vodaphone Arena this year, maybe cuz they're doing a try-out as well???

It's hard to trust something that's so accurate. We've already seen it make 1 mistake in the AU Open. But it seems to be pretty okay. It adds more strategy to the game for the players by making them think about when to challenge or not, as well as making big headed players like Hewitt put their money where their mouth is.
