Honestly, recently I have been hearing people complain about Federer's dominance in tennis. Claiming they are "bored" to see him win all the time. That he's been #1 for too long. ect. I mean, did past dominant tennis players like Steffi Graf and Pete Sampras receive such criticism during their dominant years?

I would love to see Martina Hingis as one of them, but don't think she has what it takes. Would be a glamorous final if Sharapova and Naidisova were there. They really are both beautiful girls and playing wonderful tennis. I think Nicole will be a #1 in the world before too long. You go girl.!!

I was watching the Andy Murray vs Rafael Nadal match earlier today and although he lost, Murray played some brilliant tennis, certainly looks like a top 5 player already. Could he surpass federer in the future? Afterall federer was nowhere near this good at the age of 19, he was only just in the top 32.

It was the best I've seen in the open so far. Rafa was unbelievable. He showed his mettle and I loved it when he asked the crowd to applaude for Murray too. I think if he plays well like this he can go all the way(maybe not all the way coz of Federer). But I'm a huge fan and I absolutely wish Rafa best of luck.

I do not have a problem with the scotts or the welsh, i tend to support any british person in sport.

But Andy Murray angers me because, when the world cup was on he said in a interview, at wimbledon people should focus on him not football.

Come on Andy you were playing in england, what did you expect?

i was watching the tennis today and the players semed to be returning more serves than ever. I also remember talk about reducing the pressure of the balls or increasing the size as it was becoming dull with so many big servers dominating. So did they alter something or are today's players simply better ?
