It was the best I've seen in the open so far. Rafa was unbelievable. He showed his mettle and I loved it when he asked the crowd to applaude for Murray too. I think if he plays well like this he can go all the way(maybe not all the way coz of Federer). But I'm a huge fan and I absolutely wish Rafa best of luck.
Yeah, Murray played well.

When Rafa first broke on the scene, I was absolutely enthralled with everything Nadal -- his passion, his power, his endless ability to run...

I have to say though that this time, he got lucky. Murray should have won the second set after being up 4-1, and the fourth set would have been a completely different story if the linesman hadn't made a horrible error and called an in ball out on Andy Murray's break point. Had that call been challenged, the set would have started out at 3-1 instead of 2-2.

But well done Rafael, you got it done in the fifth set. Good luck against Fernando Gonzalez.

Both players played brilliant tennis most of the time, which made the match an absolute thriller, so I didn't dare watch the last set anymore. (I know, I'm a piece of chicken-sh*t for that....I'll watch the replay, LOL)

It could have gone either way up till the fifth set, but, being a Nadal-fan like you, I'm really glad he won in the end.

great match for the two future of tennnis. i really like the outcome because nadal outlasted murray in five set knowing murray is an inform player and a great one who defeated players the like of federer, roddick, davydenko. now nadal had a big chance to reach the final with his nemesis berdych is out of the open. and also hoping that he could beat federer in the final.

i applaud his perseverance. He is a phenomenal player and today's game proves it all.Even after loosing the 1st set (7-6) he kept his cool & went on winning the 2nd set and finallyyyy.... the 5th set.The amazing rally of 25 shots b/w the two(too long) was the best part of all.loved the game.superb performance by Nadal. He is certainly inspirational.
