Federer is definately the better tennis player. He is so smooth with his shots and he makes it all seem so effortless.
Nadal is a very good player, and although he has beaten Federer on a couple of occasions I don't think he's in Federer's league at the moment.
Hewitt is well out of his depth with this league of players. Hewitt had his day as a number 1 player and I think he has totally lost his drive to play well.

Fed's is game is at the moment unbeatable. His "A" game is margins above everyone else. His technicality on court and level headed-ness keeps him from wasting away any points or matches. And which he is on a 36 consecutive win streak. How many players do that?
Nadal is very young and has a long way to go. His clay court game is his strength but needs to improve other aspects to become an ultimate overall player. Nadal happens to be the only player who's taken multiple matches off Fed, so if thats means anything for the future, Nadal may not be 2 for very long.
Hewitt used to be a favorite player of mine, being so quick and efficient with his shots. Of the past few years, marriage, mental game, and coaching are factors of the collapse of Hewitt. If he got his head back in the game, he could get back to where he was...until then though, I don't give him any respect.
Hope this helps!

Tough between Nadal and Federer. I think they are both excellent players. I just watched Nadal yesterday on ESPN and he has such a great style and flaire. He played so brilliantly against Murray, it was such an exciting match. As for Federer, I have yet to watch him in the Australian Open, but I have watched him some in the past especially at Wimbledon and I find that he is also a very strong player. I can't remember enough about how he played when I watched him, but I do remember that he plays very excellently and with great confidence.

Right now Federer-cement Nadal-Clay, but i think Nadal will get to the top as continues to have a better service each day and he is like 5 years younger than Roge.

Well I love Nadal, weather he looses or wins. Because, he such a professionist on the court and such unbelievable manners. And he fights to win, and when he looses he is always positive for the next tournament. And federer, I am not a huge fan, but he is no.1, and federer plays very well, no one can say he won't win, but maybe this year it is Nadal's chance to win these tournaments. Federer is very good. Nadal is the king on clay courts, Buena suerte. Adiós. (",)

my fav player is rafa nadal....but his serve is so feeble that he has been broken so many times when serving for a set or a match....he has lost many matches that way...examples include wimbledon final 2nd set....masters cup against blake.....but nadal fights for every point....he waits for others to make the mistake and when the time is ready....he hits a winner.....he plays safe tennis...doesnt take many risks....federer has a good serve.....plays risky tennis...makes alot of winners.....but also makes more mistakes than nadal as a result....hewitt is out of the question....he is useless.....since federer goes for winners and makes more mistakes thats why he loses against nadal....but i think if nadal has a big serve and can serve more aces and makes his serve very solid...nadal can easily be number 1....cause in general play..it takes alot to beat nadal cause he makes u play so many shots cause he is so fast....but federer has the all round game....nadal's serve lets him down way to many times for him to be a match to federer.....
