cause she's a fuchking american...that why. they overrate there players in any sports.

She isn't overrated. If anything at all, she is underrated -- a winner of 7 singles grand slam titles and 6 grand slam doubles titles, including a personal career slam, winning 4 grand slams back-to-back. She has just recovered from injury, only played 4 tournaments last year, and yet she is beating players like Nadia Petrova and Jelena Jankovic. If she had the mobility she used to have when she was at her peak, she would be an unbeatable player. If there's any player that's overrated, I think it's Sharapova and Nadal. They are very good players, yes, but they play the game by their own rules -- taking forever to serve and in Sharapova's case, making a hell of a noise and getting coachin assistance from her dad in the stands. That's forbidden but nobody;s doing anything about it.

first of all i just want to say that racism should be gone...so stop making racism remarks about serena, just coz she is black doesnt mean she cant be the best tennis player
serena is not overrated i would say, in fact most of the time everyone are trying to bring her down including less successful tennis players like PAT CASH...now pat did u win 7 grandslam titles?? NOPE so i guess u should just shut up...i reckon if u watch the way serena played jelena then everyone who discredits her will understand how much of a champion she is...i mean sharapova who has only won 2 grandslams is treated like the queen of tennis when in fact she isnt, she cant play at the net like serena can...so to those who feel serena is overrated well maybe if you watch her play then stupid questions like these wont be needing discussion...i mean we all wasting our time, when infact SERENA IS THE BEST TENNIS TALENT THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN...

Well, you should have seen her play today against Jelena Jankovic, and you will have to eat your words. I have never seen such forceful play ever before, not even by Kim Clijsters! She was just rocketing the balls and she won 6-3 6-2 in an hour, and Jankovic happens to be one of the best women in form at present.

no she isnt.she has won so many grand slams and she really came back in her match against petrova to win it.also she played great tennis today in her match against jankovic and also she serves pretty well compared to other women players.she definitely isnt overrated.
