On the men's side: Roger Federer; doesn't he always win?? I'm hoping for a breakthrough for either Andy Roddick or James Blake, though. I doubt that Lleyton Hewitt, Mardy Fish, Robby Ginepri, or Raphael Nadal have a realistic chance...
On the women's side: Amelie Mauresmo could repeat, and Maria Sharapova is the number one seed; Serena Williams could win if she plays up to her capabilities. I doubt Martina Hingis will win...
ESPN's coverage is great! I stayed awake half the night last night watching Andy Roddick beat Marat Safin!

in men most probably federer or maybe roddick or blake.(roddick is in the same half of the draw as federer so that reduces his chances of being in the final)
in women u just cant guess with no one actually dominating the scene.maybe sharapova or mauresmo, maybe even serena or kuznetsova.
i too watched the safin roddick match and i too was supporting safin but he lost.but the match was absolutely cool and entertaining, with the arguements of safin with the umpire as well as the challenges with the hawk eye technology.

Federer is almost surely about to win in men's single competition(unfortunately), but on the other hand it's very complicated and inpredictable who'll win in women's singles. Big surprises can still happen, so the favourised ones might easily lose.I think that Maria Sharapova will surely play in finals and that her oponent might be either Jelena Jankovic or Amelie Mauresmo.

i think of Nalbandian it is going to make an somewhat solid Australian Open, yet while federer keeps the point, he's going to be the champion, i think of he Khows a thank you to play agains nadal now, yet i mentioned that could desire to be Nalbandian by way of fact he play such and stunning Davis Cup very final, he beat EASLY, Safin and Davydenko.. yet to elementary, i propose, he replaced into out of this international, he play on the comparable point that performs Roger.... so, if he can save this point, properly, save and eye on him... and not basically the Australian Open, for all the 2007. remeber, final 365 days he replaced into wining against federer in Ronald Garros, yet he go through and harm and could retire, yet i think of he could gained that experience..
