I know that for women it's Henin, and for men is Nadal, but who do you think is also good and might pose a threat to Henin or Nadal?

i am buying shoes on tenniswarehouse.com so i can not try them on. i know from experience that nikes run small. the conversion chart for shoe sizes in different brands says that with 11.5 wilsons, the nike equivalent is 12.5. the 11.5's fit me in the just right - too snug area and i don't want my nikes to be too big or too small so if anyone with the experience in this area please help me thank you

So what if it is sexist and politically incorrect. I'm sure the women feel the same way. Women's tennis is far more interesting than mens. Other major sports are broken down into mens/womens categories with their own distinct section, so its not an issue. Yeah, yeah, so make mixed doubles available in both.

With no disrespect to the women, we all know that the top ten men would thrash the top ten women in tennis. But how far down the mens rankings would we have to go before a top woman would be able to beat man? Surely Serena or Venus would fancy their chances against a man ranked between 1000 - 2000?

It appears to me that among all the outstanding professional players, a few stand out as exceptional shot makers. The one guy that I think is at the top is David Nalbandian. He is magnificent, but this year he has been inconsistent. The second guy is Rafael Nadal. He comes up with this bizarre, extreme angle (especially on his forehand) where he cuts off half the court. Another is Carlos Moya. My goodness he comes up with some nice shots, but again inconsistency (and age) have plagued him. Others?

okay so im not trying to be cocky but im 16 and have been playing tennis since i was like 5...my only weakness is playing people who are clearly worse than me. i am always afraid to hit hard cause when i try to put power on a weak ball it ends up going out and so i try to just push it back and end up not like finishing my strokes so i like hit it in the net or frame it..my question is..what do you do to beat someone who is way worse without like pushing the ball and looking like an idiot..i always end up dropping to their level of playing..help

Many years ago, during my active playing days, there were a fair number of players that wore a tennis glove to help with the grip. These days, however, I see almost no one wearing them. Have they just gone out of fashion, or has some research definitively shown they are not much of a help and in fact can harm your game? I used them off and on for awhile, but ended up hardly using them as well.
