Well, if the result of this Pacific Life tourney is an indication...looks like Nadal is coming back to his old form and is sending a clear message to whomever might want to challenge for his clay-court crown...i.e. Federer. If this is Federer's year for French according to one's posting here...good luck to him. After losing first round match in a comfortable surface for him...that doesn't boast well for his chances on clay. Nadal is king of clay but he's not the only clay specialists out there...anyone from the Spain and Argentina region can hurt him on clay court. Actually, anyone he faces can have the chance to hurt him...this is the slowest court so any of this 'power' shot won't have as big of a bite they way they do on grass or hard courts. If it is his time, he'd better be lucky because he will need it in the finals if he faces Nadal.

No i don't think Nadal will Win Roland Garros for a third time. I predict that Federer will win it but i don't believe Nadal will even make it to the finals to play Federer, i thinks he going to lose in one of the earlier rounds. Once you've played him a few times you can figure out how to play aganist his game.

I firmly believe this is Federer's year to win the French Open. He is primed for it and it's basically the only major missing in his bag.
Federer is like a starving wolf for the French Open. He salivates thinking of it but he is calm and humble but trust me, the man is training harder than ever right now to win it this year. He hasn't lost a single game for months now. That has got to boost his confidence and strenght.

Yes...Nadal is the greatest clay court player I have ever seen. It is his surface...he owns it. I feel that even if he doesn't play his best, he will remain unstoppable on clay.
