It sat at my Dad's house in the Atlantic salt air. The bore shows a "little" rust. The barrel shows surface rust. I have used a solvent/lubricant to clean my gun. The breach seems to close very tightly. The trigger and pin are tight and in safe working order. The barrel is 18 1/4" and was this way when I got it in 1973.

im looking for an airsoft sniper thats about $100 and hoping ot find one at $120 max, and the 2 top ones ive found so far would b those 2, i was also looking at the Swiss Arms M6 but its short so i dont think it'll get much accuracy, i want to find the overall best sniper for under $120 in terms of i guess fps, accuracy, durability, and accesories, thats the only reason so far im not liking the vsr-10 is cuz u hav 2 buy a scope rail....but bside that i pretty much like it and its fps is a little low too but there r a lot of upgrades for it though i havent upgraded b4 so ya i dk lol, um so far im liking the m324 by utg cuz it has a lot of accesories and it already has all the rails needed. can someone plz help me choose? i probably wont upgrade much unless i know how to(willing to experiment) and the parts r faily easy to find and arent a fortune to buy, plz help me with opinions or w/e u can give, if u own either of these then plz give pros and cons to help me out, tnx for any help

What exactly makes it corrosive, is it the primer or the powder, or both combined? I shoot quite a bit of surplus ammo marked as corrosive and have been curious quite some time as to why exactly it's corrosive. I have all the tips and tools I need for cleaning after shooting corrosive ammo(windex works great, so does 50-50 mix of ammonia and soap water)

Let me tell you he is not someone you want to have over for dinner......If you are an NRA Member~.
I just read my Outdoor Life love the fish stuff in it~ But any way he wants to~ get this~ start the WHA mmm you say well its stands for World Hunting association...Catch and release deer. This guy has a farm that has a fence around it and he is marketing catch and release of deer....Now people make fun of me for being a member of the NRA since I was 16 and teach the Eddie Eagle program but this is all out there......Do you know who David Freeman is?

Looking to buy an AR-15 or M4. Pretty much decided I am going to go with the A3 or A4 receiver depending on which company makes it, as i intend to put a scope on it. Does that make sense? I like the looks of the M4 better with the telescoping stock, but I have read that it does not shoot nearly as well or feel as nice as the rifle versoin (longer barrel, solid stock) which is obvious, but I was wondering how much of a difference it really makes. What do you suggest? Still can't decide which company to go with, any companies that that are known for horror stories? Im looking to spend less than 1100

I'm looking at the Savage Rifle in .204 Ruger and 22-250. I have seen the 22-250 take down a deer shot through the neck. I know the 204 is a fast bullet. I would like to get either of these to shoot paper and deer. I live in the Castroville Tx area. Any comments on the caliber to use? I don't want to spend too much on a rifle and was thing about the Savage 16FXP3 package.

Is their ballistic punch really anything handy or are they just novelty? I've read of having to unload 3 .357 shotshells and then a hollowpoint into a fat rattlesnake before he ceased defensive efforts completely. It was also stated the spread pattern is simple horrible in a large caliber pistol, like the effect of sawing off a shotgun barrel. Any info on experiences with these would be appreciated.

On average, how often do you go shooting? Either to the range for some scope time, or just to the field for some tin can action.Sporting clays, skeet, trap etc all count.
Once a week? More than once a week? Once a month?

Im interested in buying an AR15 or M4. I'll target shoot with it (not competitivley) and probably wont use it to defend the home (got the Mossberg 500 for that :) but its one of those gotta have guns and im looking for a rifle in .223 anyway, so might as well consider these. Theres so many variations, but im looking for one of the ones thats clean and generic of a military version. Im not really looking for an all out custom crazy look that some of the upper end ones have that end up costing 1500- infinity dollars. I know i can expect less accuracy farther out with the M4, but personally, I like the way to looks.......Any thoughts opinions on different makers, what company to stay away from, which to buy from etc etc. Half of the fun in buying a new gun is researching and learning something of what everyone else knows. Thanks for any serious input, anyone who says get the AK47 you're truly worthless.

I accidentally dry-fired a Browning Mag Reflex Bow and a piece holding the strings together below the top cam broke off. There's one on the bottom too, I've been told it's called a torque equalizer. This bow is old, so does anyone know where I can get this part?

Out of these rifles, which is more accurate out of the box

Browning A bolt
Remington 700
Savage Arms 11G or 10GXP (pre packaged with scope)

All are in .223

Other .223 under 700 -800 dollars ??? Is there another model i should be considering. Thanks for the help. I know a ton of other people are going to suggest other rounds, but I'm stubborn with the .223, it was either that or the 308. I need something that i can afford to shoot at the range ALOT and dont see myself getting into handloading...Too busy being a student at college. Thanks again.
