of course considering safety but mainly for all hunters to feel like they are not on top of each other.

A kind of rule of thumb is one hunter per 100 acres at any given time. You could have more than that ratio but then all hunters would have to take turns. I have seen it done so that hunters would draw for weekend hunts. Each member would get the same number of draws but drawing would go on a seniority basis with the more senior members drawing first. It is best not to hunt every day of the season or you will drive the game away. If you hunt only weekends and let the lease rest during the week, all hunters have a better hunt. Of course, this supposes a long season like we have in Texas. Not all states have seasons long enough to allow resting periods for the lease. Hope this helps.

I think you need a different question...

How many hunters can get along and be friendly after fighting over where to hunt in 2000 acres?

Probably the fewer the better. You can spread out the food plots and habitat over 2,000 acres pretty good.

I would agree with no more than 1 hunter per 100ac but it also depends greatly on the deer population. If the area you hunt is not very populated with deer then you may need 1 per 300ac so the hunter has a better chance of harvesting a deer. Also the terrain and landscape matters. If its wide open land with no trees then may need more land than 100ac.

Zero. I wouldn't still hunt in open woods. If I am not on the property alone, I am in a stand. There are alot of dumbasses out there.

One in every tree- let 'em rip. They're shooting down anyway. If the hunters get shot, that'll be a lot more ache-ers (acres).

I wouldn't stillhunt in woods, especially with all the idiots that hunt around here by me!! I'd be in a tree where it is safer.
