Just in, but not new. Barry Bonds indicted for purgery/making false statements in connection with an accusation of steroid use. Which is basically confirming that he in fact, did use steroids from 2001 to whenever he was smart enough to stop, if he was even that smart.
Bonds turns to roids just to beat Hank Aaron's home run record.
Believe what you may, but here's the real question. How do we as sports fans, as a society, hold professional athletes accountable for what amounts to cheating? Should my five year old look up to a man who would cheapen the all American past time of baseball just to score a few more homeruns?
Personally, I am outraged and I for one never believed he got even close to beating Hank's record.
