Tips for first time table tennis player?

Hello, what tips can you give me.. ?! How can I play an effective shot, how do you spin the ball, where should you stand etc. etc. !! Tank ya

Don't expect to do well the first few times, and do expect to just have fun. You'll hit it into the net, you'll hit it long, you'll miss it completely. You'll feel like a doofus, and that's OK. With practice, you'll get better. In the meantime, just have fun and don't worry about doing well. You'll get there...
