I know that when baseball first started in was only in the USA and hence it was called the world series knowingly because all the best baseball players in the world played in the MLB hence the USA could beat any other country in the world and it was believed that they were the best, but now that alot of the players are hispanic and others from diffrent countries (Japan for instance) and with the emergence of the Baseball Classic Competion (Which should be regarded as the 'real' World Series) why do they still call it the World Series? Thats like taking Mexico's Soccer league and whatever team wins it having them called the world champions of league soccer, it just doesnt make sense? anymore...

in other shoes i am usually size 10 US because of my width but with nike i have to buy size 9 US. these are basketball shoes. how much can i stretch it (width ways) before it will break? i'll probably need to stretch it 1 size up for width. dont tell me to try it in a shop i cant if they dont sell these shoes in the uk=.= stupid answers = report

We all know pro athletes are multi-millionaires. Hearing about another athlete get paid $15 Million/Year just makes us regular folk shake our heads.

Do you think the pro atheletes salaries should be kept private just as in any other regular corporation with their employees?

I think so. So of these contracts (especially in the mlb this year) are ridiculous amounts of money for average guys.
