1. Should superstars NOT make so much money because doctors, nurses etc. have jobs that save lives and make much less?

Yep totally agree with Ryan

In an ideal world salaries would be based on the importance of the job you do - so nurses, docs, police etc would earn the highest salaries

But salaries are based on how much money you bring in (sports people, musicians) and how much you want to keep a top individuals (CEOs etc) the superstars will always get paid more

Making money is NOT about the kind of work you do, it is about how well you advertise and how many people you reach. Doctors, I agree do much more important jobs, but they only reach the people in their communities. Superstars have people all around the nation or world watching them, buying their CDs.
