I have a hockey web site - www.wideworldofhockey.com that does very well in search engines for terms such as "hockey stores", "hockey stores online", "pittsburgh hockey stores", "pittsburgh sporting goods stores", and many others.

I want to attract "sponsors" to help offset my monthly website expenses. How do I attract "sponsors", be they companies or individuals? What "incentive" can I offer them, knowing in advance my search engine rankings?

Finally, how do I determine a reasonable fee for advertising a sponsor on my site? Should it be a monthly or one-time fee? What criteria should I use in determining the fee amount?

All insights are greatly appreciated!

I read in a magazine that Troy Bell, a former first round draft pick from Boston College, has taken up pro boxing. Al Harrington is also an avid boxer and he includes boxing in his training. This got me thinking , which NBA player would be the nastiest boxer? ( please don't answer Steve Nash......)

Who do you think out of any athlete, in any sport ever, had the biggest Impact on the world. To me its either Jackie Robinson/ (I apologize but i do not know his name, just that he was the first) who were the first African American men to cross into the white leagues, or Jordan who really globalized the game of basketball

I want to climb Mount Everest but have never climbed a mountain or a hill in my life. Can anyone give me advise? Route information, best trail, what to wear, what to bring,etc.. Better yet if someone is going to climb any time soon I would like to join you. I will pay most expenses. I do want it to be some what challenging, do you recommend to climb in the beg of winter where there is only light snow? Please help!!!!

i am on a danceteam and we competite against others. people always argue with me if it is or isnt.

whats your opinion? i think it is amazing. in dance you need all the elements. flexiblitiy, endurance, memory, and lots of skill. tell me why or why not.
