Does it make that much of a difference to clean the grooves on your irons? I mean, really cleaning them, not just wiping the club face clean.

Is there anything I should know before hand? How do I learn how to score the game? Can you just go and play and not score? Are there any websites to explain how to the play the game? My husband has been before he met me but I'm not sure he remembers or knows how to play. Thanks!

How would you describe, and spell, the noises of different golf clubs?

Titanium driver

Steel faiway wood/hybrid

A crisp iron shot

A putt

The thud as the ball hits the green

The sand flying

The ball clattering into the cup.

in my lower right rib cage. Although it didn't hinder my game or swing it hurts. Most noticibly when I try to fix a divit or place my ball on a tee. Anyone ever experience this type of pain and is there any remedies. Thanks.

I am 70 years old and still paly golf quite often I can still drive the ball off the tee about 240 yards. However, I tried one of the new R7 draw drivers and every time I hit it I got another 20 or so yards and was out there with the young guns. Was this just in my head or should I buy one of these drivers.???
